This bull calf keeps getting better every time we see him, he is being kept for bull/herd sire potential. He has stood out since birth. He is dun colored and polled. He has a very nice topline and very correct legs. A little deeper smoother than his sire, he may be a little beefier. Temperment laid back but commanding. Weaned at 4 months up for sale Spring 2012. His genotype has been sent in, We sell very few bulls, most are sold or kept as steers.
Sire: New Day Black Jasper
Dam: Mudvalley Charlotte
I placed Pics of a steer because he is so nice and I want people to see what a great example of a Dexter steer would be for 4H or FFA steer to show. His dam is Rosie above and she throws nice bull/steers. T-bone is going to freezer in October 2011.
Bobo was an accident his sire was a small Red Min Zebu bull, Dam was Blossom a Dexter hiefer. So half zebu and half Dexter, he is beautiful best of both breeds, finer skin, very pretty head, easy keeper, doesn't mind heat/cold or rain and he is quick/agile. He is almost as tall as a 12 month old Dexter so not slow maturing as a Min Zebu. He is used as companion where ever needed.
